Halal School Catering was borne out of a realisation that whilst Muslim faith schools are committed to the provision of fresh, quality food, they were often left with no support to provide these meals. Drawing on their experience as successful school caterers the directors have developed a skilled service that is designed for Muslim faith schools. Halal School Catering is delighted to be officially endorsed by the Association of Muslim Schools UK as their provider of school meals

We offer fresh home cooked food, with a range of dishes that can be seen in many school dining rooms across the UK, but using only Halal certified meat, vegetable based oils and fats and ensuring the absence of other unsuitable animal products such as gelatine.

Our philosophy is one of providing nutritious, home-cooked meals from fresh ingredients and to encourage students and staff to try a range of foods and enjoy a healthy diet.

Understanding and complying with strict regulations in place regarding meals served in schools and colleges can prove onerous. We have close links with the School Food Trust and are proud to say that the food we serve exceeds the School Food Trusts and government requirements.

However, there is little point in providing healthy, nutritious food if students do not eat it. We therefore place equal importance on making meals appetising & appealing.

We provide fresh, healthy food that students want to eat and refurbish old canteens to make them exciting, welcoming spaces that can be used all day.

Not only do we expand the range of food available, we provide quick service to reduce queues and consistently see an increase in uptake - and we do all this without management fees!
